Don’t be afraid to reach out and get the healing process started. Having somebody to process your challenges with and then learning new ways to handle the stress is instrumental in healing. If you are wanting to explore a new way to approach life, individual counseling may be for you.

Is your relationship deteriorating right before your eyes? Are you and your partner struggling to connect with one another? So many life challenges can make it hard for couples to nurture their bond. There is the stress of work and children, possibly extended family struggles, grief and loss, body image issues and the list keeps growing. Humans were meant to be in community with one another and crave affection, intimacy and connectedness. Your marriage is arguably the most important relationship in your life; if it is causing you and your partner stress, let’s get started with making positive changes and learning new ways to interact with one other.

Is your home life a source of stress for you? Are you struggling to parent effectively, connect with your children, or have positive interactions with family members? The truth is parenting is hard! Maybe you are a stay-at-home mother dealing with kids all day and you are ready for some self-care or a date night with your husband. Perhaps your family uses high emotional parenting and interactions with one another and the constant conflict is stressing you out. Whatever the case may be, there is hope for change. With some guided help and in a safe space, your family might just benefit from discussing the problematic relationship and learning interactive skills to behave differently with one another. Human behavior does not happen in a vacuum and changing one part of the family system can oftentimes positively impact multiple other areas.

These evaluations are completed at the request of a client, attorney or mandating agency such as probation or the Department of Corrections for a person being charged with or convicted/adjudicated of a sexual offense.

Evaluations include a comprehensive clinical interview as well as a variety of assessments to measure risk, personality characteristics, potential mental health issues and sexual interest.

I am an evaluator approved by the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board and can complete psychosexual evaluations on adults and juveniles.

I strive to have evaluations completed and back to the referral source within a two week time frame after the initial clinical interview.
